Alcatraz Prison was touted as an unescapeable prison. The worst of the worst were sent there. In 1962, however, Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin, were serving a stint there when they worked out an escape plan. After seeing to all of the details, the big night eventually came. They were discovered missing from their cells the next day. Though nothing has been proven one way or the other, many believe that their escape was successful and they lived the rest of their lives on the run from the US Government.
