Introducing Crime With My Coffee

Suzanne: Hi y'all, and welcome to Crime With My Coffee, a weekly true crime podcast hosted by your fabulous hostesses with the mostestess. I’m Suzanne.

June: And I’m June.

S: We just wanted to jump in and tell you a little bit about us and our podcast. Each week we’re gonna discuss a different case over a cup of coffee.

J: Unless it's a long case and, ya know, our coffee gets cold.

S: Might have to take a break and warm it up.

J: Possibly.

S: So, I've been listening to podcasts for, like, several years now.  I, I listen to them all the time.  If I’m cooking, I’m listening to a podcast.  Doing dishes?  Podcast!  I even listen to them when I’m on a road trip to go visit family and friends.

J: That’s nice. I'm kinda newer to the podcast family. Um, I unfortunately went on a terrible shift at work and really bored so I was like, “Lemme check out this podcast stuff everybody’s been talking about.”  So technically I’ve only been listening for probably about a year and a half.  But I do listen the five days a week for the, uh, pretty much most of the time that I’m at work.

S: Nice.

J: Yeah.

S: Help the time go by faster?

J: It really does, it really does.

S: Good deal.  Well, the more I listened to them the more I thought, “Hey, I could do this. I could do my own podcast.”  I didn’t.  What I did do was start researching what it would take to make my own podcast and I was like, “Um, that?  That is something I totally can do."  So here I am.

J: And she totally can do it because I pushed her just a little bit.  She was like, “Oh, this’ll be great, this’ll be great.”  So I jumped on her bandwagon and I’m like, ‘“Yeah.  This’ll be great for both of us. It’s about something that we both love.  True crime."

S: Abso-freaking-lutely.  And that, my dear friends, is how Crime With My Coffee came to be.  We wanted to thank you for coming on this journey with us, and we can not wait to see where we go from here.

J: Exactly.  We launch on September 30th of 2020, and all of our new episodes will be released every Wednesday after that.
