On a July night in 2012 in West Virginia, 16 year old Skylar Neese snuck out of her window to go hang out with her two best friends, Sheila Eddy and Rachel Shoaf. The girls had recently had a falling out and had just started to be friends again. The next day, when Skylar's parents didn't find her in her room or anywhere at home, they called her friends, who eventually admitted that they had hung out with Skylar that night, but insisted they dropped her off at home and went on about their way. Shelia helped the family search for her missing friend. In January 2013, a body that was eventually identified as Skylar's was found.
