The New Orleans Axeman Murders
From May 1918 to October 1919, New Orleans, Louisiana had a serial killer who was dubbed The Axeman. He (or she) earned this moniker when they would attack Italian immigrants and Italian-Americans, using their own axe in most cases. This case has never been solved.
